Okay. Your rates are pretty important.
I think the best way for you to set up your rates page is to basically create a rate for each accommodation type.
There’s all kinds of ways you could approach it but this way seems to make the most sense to me for the system.
So for example I’ve set up luxury three bedroom here.
Let’s take a look at that.
Alright so we’ve got the luxury three bedroom rate.
And what we can do is we can assign rates by the season.
So I’ve got an all days.
Let’s change this to high.
So this is the high season rate.
These numbers are greyed out because these are the numbers we’ve defined in the accommodation type.
This unit can accommodate four adults and zero Children.
Okay, here’s your price per night.
So even though you may not rent a unit for one night, what you need to do is set your price per night
so that the system can calculate how much the total cost is also.
So that on the Booking PEI site when we are returning results for people who are looking for accommodations between this day and this day.
And they get a list.
They can compare it by geography when it shows up on the map.
But they can also also compare by price.
So the units will show up and say units from $250 a night or more or less depending on which which listing they’re looking at. So these are important details.
Now let’s say I also want to add a season price because I also rent this in the spring, alright, but I don’t charge as much in the spring because it’s cool and sometimes a little uncomfortable.
