Services is an area where you can add special one-off products you offer your clients or packages where are available for purchase along-side your accommodation rentals.
The pricing is pretty flexible so you should be able to cover most addon scenarios with this feature.
Okay now we’re on our services page and like I mentioned before, these are your a la carte services so your, your one offs that people can purchase in addition to the cost of
renting the unit. So I’ve included some examples here.
You don’t need to use any, all or any of these if you don’t want to and you can delete any of them by just hovering over and saying trash or you can select them all go to bulk actions and say move to trash and apply.
So you know it’s very easy to get rid of things but let’s just take a look at how they’re set up.
It’s, it’s a really nice system so for example I’ve set up pets.
If you allow pets and you have a surcharge associated with that.
You just put your title in here and come down to to the price module.
Say what the cost is, whether it is per day once or guest choice I guess
is
I don’t know I’ll have to look into that once or per day.
So is it a one time fee for the entire stay or is it a fee per day?
So let’s say you charge $15 per day per pet
per accommodation. So, or per guest.
It depends on what the item is but this makes most sense per accommodation.
That’s it and then you just click update.
Alright let’s go back to services and look at another example.
So for example weddings, birthdays and celebrations,
I included this as an example
and let’s say you’ll throw a party for people if they’re having a birthday while they’re with you then you put the price in here and it’s a 1 time cost.
It’s not per day it’s once and per accommodation Unless you’re charging per guest, maybe it’s a really big birthday party and you’re charging $250 per guest to attend this birthday party.
Fantastic. Okay that’s it, that’s what these, that’s how you set up your services.
And again the services option shows up when people rent your unit they get to the checkout page and there’s an option for them to add on extra services.
So in the accommodation type you tell the system which extra services you want to have applied to, that accommodation type. And then when the customer is checking out they can select from those services which ones they want to add and add
onto the invoice. This would be probably a really good way to deal with with package offers.
