Managing your Bookings

The bookings page is where you can keep tabs on which units you have booked for when – you can drill down to your booking details.
Now I don’t have any bookings in here right now.
But it’s also a page where you can add a new booking from the admin side instead of somebody having to book it from the from the website.
So you can click new booking
and pick your check in and check out dates.
Let’s just say they’re coming for two days accommodation type luxury three bedroom cottage.
And we’re going to have two adults and you’re going to say search
and it’s telling me that this unit luxury three bedroom cottages, one is available For rent,
capacities for adults and the base price is $250, $250 a day.
So I’m going to say reserve
and then I’m going to put the details in because it has to be attributed to somebody.
So it feels a little repetitive but it it gets the job done.
So let’s say we’re putting in two adults.
So the first form was a search form and this one is actually the booking form and
the guests name is my best friend.
Okay all the details are here.
First name is best, last name is friend,
email is
Gmail. Okay.
Country of residence Canada
and book now.
Okay and this is the booking information on that booking.
I just realized as I was doing that, that we need to add we need to add as well as country, we need province and state.
And so we’ll make sure that that’s there for you so that you can pull those reports for tourism PEI Okay? So let’s go back to our bookings now
and you can see this booking is confirmed and I did it administratively.
So there was no deposit required.
But if somebody’s doing it from the front end of the site and you haven’t set up that you want them to pay a deposit, then that’s what will happen there.
Okay. And that’s how the bookings page is managed.
